Win at Wet-on-Wet Painting

create soft and dreamy paintings

Instant Lifetime Access, Self-Paced

Create soft and dreamy paintings by using the wet-on-wet technique for which watercolors are famous.

In this course, you'll learn to paint a large sunflower wet-on-wet with our easy-to-follow professionally filmed course with Arts of Course star instructor Jess Rice.

You'll learn how to gradate pedals to add dimension, how to paint negatively to make the flower pop and some special effects!

You will create the painting in four easy washes. First, you will wet the paper and add the first layer of paint to the center of the flower and add some special effects. Finally, you'll add the petals, and pay attention to the negative spaces between them to make your painting pop.

What past students say...

Lyse C., CWW student

"Jess Rice commands his art and loose style with conviction! He kindly reminds us to 'let go,' 'have fun,' 'one stroke, rinse your brush and feather,' — which I find soothing and inspirational."

Heather R., CWW student

"The videos are like having a series of private painting classes with Jess guiding me. The best part is that I get to keep all the lessons, tips and bonuses to use in the future. I highly recommend this course."
